the entrances should provide outside
mats to keep dirt and grit off the floor. |

Sweep or vacuum
as often as necessary to remove any
loose dirt or grit before it can scratch
the floor. |

Wipe up spills
as soon as possible. |

To avoid excessive
shrinkage, cracking, swelling or cupping,
you should keep the humidity between
35% and 65%. This can be accomplinshed
through the use of air conditioning. |

As the wood in
your new floor ages or is affected by
ultra violet light, it will change in
colour as it gains its final character
and patina. Certain species of wood,
such as Cherry change colour more than
others.(Brazilian Cherry, Ebano and Tiger Wood). |

Do not use ammonia,
pine soap, oil soap, chlorine bleach
or any abrasive cleaners. |

Do not wax your
floor. It may make the floor slippery. |

Vacuum regularly,
as often as you vacuum carpets; a brush
attachment works beautifully. |

Do not stick tapes or glues on the floor as it may
damage its coating. |
